At a young age, he started playing football for the Wolverhampton Wanderers youth squad, but at the age of 13, he was released. He then joined the Shrewsbury Town youth squad, and in 2004 he started his club career. Andre signed his first professional one-year contract prior to the commencement of the 2009-10 season.
