Reports state that Mr. O’Donnell died on Friday, and that his corpse was later found next to a precipice.
Yesterday, barely hours after his death had been confirmed, the loss was made harder as word of Mr. Wall’s passing circulated.
The O’Donnell and Wall families were still reeling from Andrew’s tragic death when their infant passed away.
Two teenagers from the same Dublin school who had just graduated died while on holiday in Greece.
According to the Irish network RTÉ, O’Donnell died on the island of Ios in a different occurrence from the passing of Max Wall.
It had been, in the words of St. Michael’s College, “a day of immense sadness.” The Irish minister for higher education, Simon Harris, further stated that the news was “devastating.”
He remarked, expressing compassion, “All are leaving certificate students abroad in Greece who were enjoying holidays after exams and are now experiencing such shock, pain, and grief.”
