Angie’s manager and friend Wynand Myburgh, also referred to as Valkie van Coke, expressed profound sorrow over her early death.
Her originality, work ethic, and sincerity were commended by him, and he said that her songs and memories would go on.
Greeff’s PR manager, Louise Crouse, informed News24 that they were deeply grieved and devastated by her sudden passing.
Greeff had surgery in 2022 to remove a 15cm-diameter malignant tumor from her back.
She started having side aches about two months before her death. Her cancer diagnosis was verified on Monday.
Myburgh had earlier told News24 that Greeff had gone to the doctor and was admitted to the hospital after experiencing excruciating agony.
She requested R200,000 in order to pay for her medical expenditures in a recent Instagram post.
The first BackaBuddy campaign raised more than R278,000 in donations.
