John Daly has more than earned the title of “Wild Thing” thanks to his collection of eccentric underwear, proclivity for life-destroying vices like gambling and alcohol, and complete disregard for what other people think of him.
When he won the PGA Championship in 1991, he shocked the golfing community, and ever since, he has had trouble keeping up his form. Daly experienced a similar lack of success with women. Four of his marriages ended in divorce. The 55-year-old and his fiance, Anna Cladakis, are currently preparing for their sixth wedding.

In 2007, while Daly was going through his fourth marriage and working as a publicist for Hooters, he first met Cladakis. She was a director of promotions at Hooters, and Daly seems happy with his life now that he’s met Cladakis.
2014 saw the couple’s engagement after careful consideration. Because of Cladakis, who is credited with taming golf’s erstwhile “Wild Thing,” Daly changed his ways and got healthier. The golfer praised her for having a great impact on him in an interview with Corey McKernan.
He gushes about how she is one of the most encouraging persons in his life and helps him in every way, even arranging his zoom interviews and dealing with sponsors. Daly was then questioned if he would have listened to her if he had been younger by the interviewer.
That is a really good question. But given the encouragement, I think I would. No other woman made the same endeavor to help me as Anna did. The two of them are not parents, although they both have kids from prior unions.
Turbulent marriages
Dale Crafton, an Arkansas hand model, and the ex-wife was Daly’s first spouse in 1987. To begin their new lives, Crafton and his wife relocated to his birthplace of Blytheville, Arkansas, but the small town rapidly bore and depressed him.
They couldn’t handle it anymore, so they got divorced two years later. Just two months after his divorce, Daly began dating Bettye Fulford, and their marriage was troubled from the beginning.
They split up when he realized Fulford was ten years older than he assumed and that she had a son who was thirteen. They did, however, make amends and be hitched in 1992.
Soon later, Fulford gave birth to Shynah Hale, Daly’s daughter. The marriage did not last long after assault claims surfaced, and they separated in 1995.
Daly wed Paulette Doan, with whom he had a brief relationship while taking a break from his second wife, in his third marriage. Upon the formalization of his divorce from Fulford, Daly and Dean made up before getting married. Sierra Lynn was Daly’s second child via Dean.
They split after four years because the marriage was just as turbulent as the ones before it. Daly later wed Memphis native Sherrie Miller. Daly’s first and only son, John Patrick Daly II, was born to the couple.
However, after a confrontation in a restaurant in 2007, the couple’s marriage became strained, and they separated in 2010. The professional golfer continued to hunt for love despite his failed marriages, and he eventually found it with Cladakis.
