Three Michelin stars have been awarded to the restaurant. On Friday, Björn Frantzén, the owner of the restaurant, posted on Instagram about Lukkari’s passing.
How Did the Executive Chef of Stockholm Pass Away?
Antti Lukkari’s wife claimed in a social media post that her husband was battling metabolic acidosis, kidney failure, sepsis, and TTP.
The incident was confirmed to Ilta-Sanom by Lukkari’s father, Hannu Lukkari. Frantzén acknowledged his shock at the passing of his close friend and colleague in a statement.
Antti passed away after being admitted to the hospital for a condition that manifested while he was away. Frantzén continues, “I’m thinking of Antti’s family and all his loved ones.
Dear “Mr. Finland,” you will be sorely missed. Brother, I’ll see you over there on the golf course and in the kitchen.
Hans Välimäki, a chef in Finland, also expressed his shock at Antti Lukkari’s passing in a post on Instagram, writing: “I just heard the shocking news that perhaps the strongest, most handsome, and most talented chef, friend, and talent in Finland, Antti Lukkari, has passed away during his holiday trip in the Philippines.” My condolences to the family and colleagues. You are great in my opinion. Always.
Antti was a little reserved about his family because the chef hadn’t shared many details about them.
But since he shared a photo of himself with his brother and father on Instagram, we know how much he respected and loved him.
Additionally, he added a message stating that both he and his brother were still receiving guidance from their father and were continuing to learn from him.
Sadly, no additional information was discovered on his family because the chef hardly ever posted images of them.
Antti hadn’t yet disclosed his exact net worth to the public, thus no reliable data could be gathered.
Antti’s estimated net worth at the time of his passing, however, was above $500,000, according to a number of sources. The chef himself has not yet confirmed this information, though.
Antti had lots of money, but he chose not to flaunt it on social media. The chef did not share images of his pricey automobiles, designer shoes, or other possessions.
He had more than 6,000 followers and used the handle @antti.lukkari. The chef just tweeted a photo with his wife on the New Year, indicating that he was extremely active there.
Sadly, the chef is no longer with us, and several of his close friends and family expressed how much they missed him in comments on a recent post. Antti Lukkari, RIP.
