The full name of an American football player and coach was Ara Raoul Parseghian. He also led the University of Notre Dame to national titles in 1966 and 1973.
Furthermore, he grew up in Akron, Ohio, and began playing football in high school. After playing professionally, he won the league championship in 1948 and 1949. He retired from coaching in 1974 and began a broadcasting career calling college football games for ABC and CBS.
