Aranza, a four-year-old child who had been missing for more than four years in Washington, was discovered in Mexico, according to an announcement made by the FBI.
Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez was last seen at a Vancouver, Washington mall with her mother.
It came to light that her mother had used a stolen automobile to abduct her. After going into hiding for a while, she was ultimately taken into custody.
While having a monitored visit with her mother, Lopez vanished. Aranza was located in Michoacán, Mexico, in February by Mexican officials, who facilitated her safe return to the United States.
She has not yet revealed the specifics of her whereabouts or the people she spent more than four years with.
More research is being done, and maybe the eight-year-old child can tell the FBI what happened to her.
Her disappearance made headlines worldwide, and social media contributed to the photos of her release to many nations.
The FBI’s special agent in charge of the Seattle field office, Richard A. Collodi, said, “The FBI and our partners did not give up on Aranza for more than four years.”
“Our concern going forward will be assisting Aranza as she starts her reintegration into the United States,” he said.
Discover Her Father And Mother, Esmeralda Lopez
Aranza’s biological father has made an effort to hide his identity from the media, therefore no information about him has been made public.
Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez was abducted from a Vancouver, Washington shopping center by her biological mother, Esmeralda Lopez-Lopez, according to evidence supplied by the FBI.
When Aranza was four years old, on October 25, 2018, she was abducted.
When Lopez-Lopez was apprehended in Puebla, Mexico, more than a year later, he was extradited to Washington state to stand trial on accusations of abduction, robbery, and interference with custodial rights.
Lopez-Lopez entered a guilty plea and was given a 20-month jail term after almost two years.
After serving two years in jail, Lopez-Lopez’s biological daughter was eventually discovered in February 2023.
After Aranza admitted guilt, her whereabouts were made public, but it took more than a year to locate her.
Hopefully, further details about the situation will become available shortly. Since arriving in the US, Aranza has been under Richard A. Collodi’s supervision.
Her father’s details have remained a mystery since her disappearance, and no information on her family members has been made public.
