Archie’s mother reportedly said his death was an accident, and the family believes the youngster was participating in a risky online challenge, according to BBC.
On April 7 of last year, the British boy’s mother, Hollie Dance, found him unresponsive at the family’s Southend, Essex, home.
After finding him with a ligature around his neck, authorities removed his life support.

On June 29, his parents were successful in their appeal, and a new hearing and review of the case were ordered. On July 11, a different judge was assigned to the case to decide what was in Archie’s best interests.
As part of the disclosure procedure prior to next week’s inquest into the 12-year-old’s death on August 6, his mother, Holly Dance, claims to have threatened WhatsApp messages targeting her son.
