Regarding his friendship with Goodman, Johnson has remained silent. They met while competing for the same team at the University of Oklahoma.
Johnson played football, although Goodman was a high jump champion. John Goodman, her father, was also an athlete. He played defensive end for the Pittsburgh Steelers from 1980 to 1985.
Johnson has enjoyed the utmost support from Goodman, who even attended the NFL Draft with him. In the same year that they got married, Johnson was chosen for the NFL.
Around the same time, Johnson’s family and NFL career both got started. Son David Chase Johnson, their first child together, was born in August 2013 to him and Goodman.
On the day of his preseason game, David was born. David, like Johnson, was born with clubfoot, a congenital abnormality.
David was in a cast from the time he was six days old until he was three months old. His clubfoot had been fixed by the time he was ten months old.
Johnson later claimed that having children gave him a lot of joy and taught him a lot about life. Since having him, I feel like I’ve learned to think of others before myself, and that’s been a wonderful light.
He discussed his family and friends as well. Along with a picture of himself and his newborn, he tweeted the good news. The Philadelphia Eagles offensive tackle Journey Lane Johnson disclosed the name of his daughter. He added that the mother and daughter were both in excellent health.

Johnson and Goodman welcomed Channing McCoy Johnson, their third child, into their family of four in March 2019.
Photos of their three kids are everywhere on Goodman’s Instagram, where she frequently writes about them. She also shared a family photo on Instagram in December 2020 with the remark “blessed.”
