Queen Letizia of Spain was joined on a nighttime excursion by her mother-in-law Queen Sofia, as well as her two daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia.
Spain’s monarch is Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano, who is the wife of King Felipe VI. She came from a middle-class family and worked as a journalist for ABC and EFE before becoming a news anchor for CNN+ and Televisión Espaola.
In 2004, she married Felipe, who at the time was the prince of Asturias and the rumored successor to the Spanish throne. As Princess of Asturias, Letizia represented her father-in-law King Juan Carlos both inside and outside of Spain.

They are not twins, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia. Infanta Sofia and Princess Leonor were born in 2005 and 2007, respectively, therefore they are separated in age by around 2 years.
The sisters have always had a time of sibling unity, even though they are not identical twins. This was especially true when they wore matching gowns everywhere they went.
Princess Leonor, Princess of Asturias, is thought to be the next in line to the Spanish throne as the elder daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, as opposed to Infanta Sofia of Spain, who is their younger child.
On November 1st, 2003, the Royal Household unexpectedly announced Letizia’s engagement to Felipe, the Prince of Asturias at the time. After that, she moved to a certain area of the Zarzuela Palace, where she stayed right up until the day of her wedding.
The Prince of Asturias had given her a 16-baguette diamond engagement ring with a white gold accent. She presented him with a classic book and white gold and sapphire cufflinks to remember the occasion.
On May 22, 2004, the event took place in Madrid’s Santa Mara la Real de la Almudena Cathedral. It was the first royal wedding held in this cathedral.
It had been over a century since the capital had played home to a royal wedding; the prince’s parents having wed in Athens, and his sisters, Infanta Elena and Infanta Cristina, in Seville and Barcelona, respectively.

The name Sofa was given to her by her paternal grandmother, Queen Sofa of Spain. She was christened on July 15 in the gardens of the Palacio de la Zarzuela by Archbishop of Madrid Antonio Mara Rouco Varela.
Her godparents are Paloma Rocasolano and Konstantin, Prince of Vidin. She received the same name as her sister during her baptism, with the additional name de Todos los Santos, which is a Bourbon tradition.
Princess Leonor and her parents left the Ruber International Hospital on November 7, 2005. She was christened in the Zarzuela Palace on January 14, 2006, by Cardinal Antonio Rouco Varela, the archbishop of Madrid.
Like her father, Leonor was baptized in a romanesque baptismal font with Jordan River water. Spanish princes have been baptized at this fountain since the 17th century.
Her godparents were King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia, who were her paternal grandparents. She was given the name Leonor de Todos Los Santos.

A last-second goal at the Brentford Community Stadium in London prevented the audience, Princess Leonor, and Infanta Sofia from successfully finishing the group stage with a tie.
They are making their first solo trip abroad. The heiress also had to go back to the UK since she spent her holidays at the Atlantic College in Wales, where she is pursuing an international baccalaureate.
