Arthur Cazaux parents have kept themselves out of the spotlight. In various interviews, the French star has thanked his parents for their aid in advancing his tennis career.
Cazaux, a Montpellier native, started playing tennis at three. Cazaux has always stated that Rafael Nadal was the player he wished to follow as a child. The adolescent debuted in ATP in 2020, winning his first match the following year at the 2021 Geneva Open. Arthur made his major slam debut as a wildcard at the 2021 French Open.
Since then, he has come a long way. Last year, he entered the US Open as a fortunate loser but was knocked out in the first round by Andrey Rublev. Arthur has had a terrific start to the new year. The world number 122 caused a stir by defeating Holger Rune, the world number eight, at the current Australian Open. The 21-year-old won 7-6 (4), 6-4, 4-6, and 6-3 at Margaret Court Arena.

Previously, in an interview, Arthur Cazaux stated that his parents were not athletes but had athletic ability. He stated that his father is a keen sports fan. Arthur discovered the sport while sitting on the sofa with his father and watching Roland Garros. He was three years old when he first saw Rafael Nadal play, and his passion for tennis has grown since then.
Soon after seeing tennis for the first time, Arthur begged his parents for a tennis racket, and he began practicing by hitting against the wall of his house. While practicing, Arthur attempted to imitate Nadal. Despite coming from a non-athletic background, Arthur has always thanked his parents for their support during his tennis career.
His parents have kept a low profile. The tennis player’s parents advised him to stay in France and advance his career rather than move abroad. When Arthur made it to the 2020 Australian Open Junior finals, his mother was asked for feedback on his performance. Ms. Cazaux was proud of Arthur’s successes, noting that his optimistic attitude and combativeness had helped him grow in his career.

The French player describes himself as a Montpellier purebred. The tennis player is of White heritage and was born in Montpellier, southern France. Arthur lived in Montpellier until the age of nine, following which he moved to Juvignac. After a few years, he moved to Matelles near Pic Saint-Loup, and then in 2020 to Paris.
Arthur was four years old when he joined the Juvignac Tennis Club. At the age of six, he was recognized by the Languedoc-Roussillon league, where he trained for both the league and his club. At the age of nine, he joined the Saint-Gély-du-Fesc club. At this point, the youngster had been coached by Frédéric Chevalier, Frédéric Pawlak, and Florent Lévêque.
Arthur dropped out of school at 13 to pursue a distance learning degree through the CNED, following which he began attending Julien Gillet’s coaching sessions. Arthur received training from Gillet until 2020 when he made his professional debut at 2020 Open 13. Stephane Huet is Cazaux’s current coach, having previously trained Irena Pavlovic, Laetitia Sarrazin, and Manon Arcangioli.
