ASAP Rocky was detained in April 2022 for his alleged involvement in a shooting that happened in November 2021.
He was detained for assault with a deadly weapon while he was flying back from a vacation with his girlfriend, Rihanna, at Los Angeles International Airport.
The LAPD claims that on November 6, 2021, Rocky shot a friend after their disagreement became more heated. Rocky was walking with two other people when they approached him on the street, the shooting victim informed the police.
After an argument, the victim said that the rapper from “Fashion Killa” shot him three to four times with the gun, one of which grazed his left hand.
The day ASAP Rocky was caught, police searched his Los Angeles home and found several guns, but none of them matched the gun that had been used in the shooting.
Alan Jackson, Rocky’s attorney, confirmed that his client had been taken into custody but would not elaborate. The rapper was brought to the LAPD’s main office for questioning and eventually released on $550,000 bail.
The victim had not been identified as of the time of reporting.
Relli A$$ Says Rocky A$AP Shot Him
However, the alleged victim did, at last, come forward on August 10, 2022. Terell Ephron, a.k.a. ASAP Relli, a former A$AP Mob member, revealed himself as the alleged victim some months after Rocky’s incarceration.
Relli claimed that to settle a dispute, he had arranged to see Rocky. The LAPD reported that the victim sought medical attention for a minor injury.
However, Relli’s legal counsel claimed that the incident resulted in several physical injuries as well as “multiple death threats and irreparable harm to his career in the entertainment world.” His attorneys asserted that security cameras had recorded the entire encounter.
In high school, Rocky and Relli formed a friendship. Relli is a producer and talent manager.
Previously, A$AP Bari, another member of the A$AP Mob, claimed that Relli had turned on the cops during Rocky’s detention.

Relli’s lawyer confirmed to XXL Magazine that the producer would be bringing legal action against Rocky. The publication states that Rocky’s subsequent court appearance is scheduled for August 17, 2022.
The news is all over the internet, and Rocky and Rihanna’s supporters appear to believe that Relli is merely attempting to capitalize on the situation and that the lawsuit is pointless.
The rapper and his pop diva partners have not yet addressed any of the accusations.
In May 2022, the couple gave birth to a baby boy, who is their first child. Since becoming parents, they have kept a low profile and have not yet released any images or given the child’s name.
