A man and a woman from New Britain’s 873 East St. have been detained in connection with the death of a four-year-old in June. Ashley Hernandez-DeJesus, 28, and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus, 31, were arrested.
The criminals were apprehended in New Britain and sent to Bristol Police Department. According to Bristol Police, the pair is facing a litany of offences, including manslaughter. They have been charged with first-degree homicide, deliberate cruelty to individuals, illegal restraint in the first degree, risk of harm to a child, and conspiracy to conduct risk of injury to a minor. Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus is also charged with giving a false statement to the police.
Bristol Police said the two were accused after an investigation into the death of a 4-year-old child in June. They have not, however, expanded more.They said that they would not reveal the identify of the victim girl.
Ashley and Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus are identified as living at the same New Britain residence.According to WFSB, they are a married couple.However, investigators did not identify the suspects’ link to the murdered youngster. They have been freed on $250,000 cash/surety bonds and are due back in court on Wednesday, December 28.

Rocky Hernandez-DeJesus, 31, and Ashley Hernandez-DeJesus, 28, of New Britain’s East Street, have been arrested.
