On Thursday, July 14, Ivana Trump, the ex-wife of former US President Donald Trump, passed away at the age of 73. The Czech-American businesswoman passed away in her New York City home at about noon.

On his Truth Social social networking platform, Donald Trump posted a notice of her passing. After that, the family of the late 45th President of the United States released an official statement in which they expressed their appreciation for her memory.

Trump stated in the post:

Ivana Trump passed away in her New York City home, and I’m sad to break the news to all of her many fans. She was proud of and delighted with her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka, and Eric. She was as thrilled about them as we were about her.

A “wonderful, gorgeous, and fantastic lady who had a tremendous and inspirational life,” was how he also characterized his late first wife.

Cause of death and other information regarding Ivana Trump’s passing

According to ABC News, the deceased woman was found unconscious at the bottom of a flight of stairs at her New York residence. Sources with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) claim that Ivana Trump passed away at her Upper East Side home.

They added that an investigation is currently being conducted to ascertain whether she fell down the stairs. A medical examiner will subsequently examine the remains to ascertain the reason behind her death, according to police sources.

According to TMZ, sources from the NYPD responded to a call coming from the scene at about 12:30 p.m. Ivana Trump allegedly suffered a heart attack, according to the magazine.
