An event saw Kerry Washington, an American actress, and her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, make a rare public appearance. On February 27 at the Barker Hangar in California, the 45-year-old actress, and former NFL athlete Asomugha attended the 2022 SAG Awards.
Kerry Washington attended the event in a yellow Celia Kritharioti strapless dress. The outfit was finished off by Tyler Ellis’ designer matching yellow velvet clutch. With smokey eyelids and a magenta lip, the actress maintained a powerful appearance.
The 40-year-old football star, meanwhile, was dressed in a black tuxedo and a white button-up. Since October 2020, the two have not been seen together. At a rally in support of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ 2020 presidential bid, Kerry and Nnamdi addressed.

Nnamdi Asomugha is a former All-Pro NFL defensive back who was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 6, 1981. The Oakland Raiders selected him in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft.
Asomugha spent his four seasons as an All-Pro developing into one of the League’s top defensive backs, earning starts in the Pro Bowls of 2008, 2009, and 2010.
Asomugha was regarded as the top free agent after signing with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011 and appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated. After 11 seasons in the NFL, he signed a one-day contract with the Oakland Raiders on December 27, 2013.
He graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a bachelor’s in business finance before joining the NFL.
Actor Nnamdi Asomugha
In 2006, he made his professional acting debut in The Game on the CW Network. Ken Shaw starred in both the first season of Friday Night Lights, which debuted in 2006, and the fourth season, Friday Night Lights: East of Dillon, which debuted in 2009. He made an appearance as Walle in the Scheherazade Job in a Season 3 episode of the TNT series Leverage in 2008.
Nnamdi starred alongside Bruce Willis, Josh Duhamel, and Rosario Dawson in his debut full-length movie, Fire with Fire, in 2012. He wrote, produced, and starred in his first short film, Double Negative, in 2013.
Nnamdi created and serves as chairman of the Asomugha Foundation, which he and his family also co-founded. It supports the Orphans and Widows in Need program and the Asomugha College Tour for Scholars (ACTS) (OWIN). The 40-year-old actress and Washington initially crossed paths in 2009 while they were both appearing on Broadway.
Isabella, age six, and Caleb, age one, are the children of Asomugha and Washington, who wed in 2013. (2). (4). But according to People magazine, Kerry Washington also has a 12-year-old daughter from a prior relationship who is Asomugha’s stepdaughter.
