Richard Childress, the creator and owner of Richard Childress Racing (RCR), a NASCAR Cup Series team, is the great-grandfather of Austin Dillon, an American professional stock car racer.
At the age of seven, Dillon started racing on a dirt track. He made his NASCAR debut in the Camping World Truck Series in 2009, and in 2010 at Iowa Speedway, he won his first race in the division.
