Felix Kjellberg, popularly known as PewDiePie, is the most popular YouTuber. When the two channels competed for the most subscribers on the platform, his spat with T-Series music labels made national news.
The music label won the race, making PewDiePie the YouTube user with the second-most subscribers and the most subscribers overall. The creator released a video to YouTube on March 2 with the caption:
“I purchased illegal Wish Goods (Police Came To My Home, Huge Mistake)”
The film recounts a “stressful” event in which a balisong was purchased from Wish. According to him, the transaction prompted police to visit his home on suspicion of “illegal online operations.”
PewDiePie takes pleasure in utilizing the balisong as a fidget spinner.
In his daily uploads, the YouTuber can be seen playing with a balisong knife. It is a standard weapon in first-person shooter video games and is also known as a butterfly knife. Wikipedia indicates
“A butterfly knife, also known as a Balisong, fan knife, or Batangas knife, is an indigenous Filipino folding pocketknife.” It has two handles that counter-rotate around the tang, allowing the blade to be concealed behind grooves in the handles when the knife is closed.”
Balisongs and butterfly knives may be purchased online legally, but their possession may be illegal depending on your location. Thus, before purchasing the knife, make cautious to examine the local laws.
PewDiePie bought the sword from the online store Wish. Numerous of his uploads demonstrate that he employs the knife as a fidget toy.
In his video, he detailed the entire occurrence. The following video pieces were included:
“I had the wonderful idea to attempt to acquire a balisong. Since I enjoy them. They are enjoyable to play with. It is outstanding. Do not, however, do so. ” Avoid purchasing a balisong.”
The transaction alerted the police, who then decided to visit the online star. He continued in the video by saying,

On the basis of his video, we can assume that the YouTuber did not have any significant issues with the authorities. He stated that the incident had made him so irritated that he had purchased many other fidget toys in lieu of the knife.
The remainder of the film was devoted to him demonstrating the toys he purchased. As of this writing, approximately 1.5 million times have been viewed the video.
