The Elizabeth House, also known as Family Hope, is a non-profit organization that provides shelter for pregnant mothers and their children who are homeless. There are 2,200,000 children living in poverty in California, and nearly 300,000 of them experience homelessness each year. Every word I compose during this two-week write-a-thon will be devoted to ensuring that children have a safe place to grow up.

The Elizabeth House provides physical, emotional, and pecuniary support in a nurturing environment to children and mothers in need. Every child deserves more than to live on the streets, which is why I am participating in a two-week fiction writing marathon to raise funds for this worthy cause.

What quantity are you willing to pledge for every word I compose? Donate per word or any amount you choose; every contribution, no matter how large or small, is appreciated. All donations are tax deductible.
