Chase McNary documented the proposal on Instagram with two images and a video. He captioned the photo and tagged his fiancee Ellie.
“You have always existed.”
In an interview with E! News, Chase stated:
“I knew immediately that she was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.”
In May 2020, the couple made their Instagram relationship official. In search of love, Chase has appeared in dating reality shows such as The Bachelorette, Bachelor in Paradise, and Ex on the Beach.
Chase McNary’s dating background
She made her reality television debut as a contestant seeking Jojo Fletcher’s attention on season 12 of The Bachelorette. Chase responded as follows when asked what marriage meant to him:
“One girl, one pledge — for all of eternity.” “I’m your best buddy.”
Despite being eliminated from the ABC program quickly after confessing his love for Jojo, Chase gained the audience’s sympathy. Jojo declined Chase’s invitation to join her in the Fantasy Suite, and Chase professed his love for her.
In following interviews, Chase, who placed third on The Bachelorette, expressed his devastation and shock at his departure. He advised ABC News:
“I believe at that time I was simply in a state of shock, sadness, and confusion. Why did things go so poorly when the previous day and the entire town had gone so smoothly?”
According to reports, Chase was intended to return for Season 21 of The Bachelor, but the plan fell through at the last minute and Nick Viall took over.
Chase informed Us Weekly:
“I spoke with my family and friends about becoming the Bachelor. They informed me that I was not the Bachelor on Monday, before to the announcement. So I found, along with the rest of the world, that it was Nick.”
As a result, the native of Colorado was supposed to participate in The Bachelor: Winter Games, but he pulled out to join MTV. Later, Chase appeared alongside ex-girlfriend Skyler Mikkelson on MTV’s Ex on the Beach.
In the show, the former Bachelorette contestant was portrayed as a player, which he did not enjoy. In Season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise, Chase made a brief comeback to ABC and was paired with Angela Amezcua. The reality show star has also stated publicly that he briefly dated former television host Tomi Lahren.
After a string of romantic misfortunes, the 33-year-old decided to quit reality television, announcing on Instagram in March 2020:
“Now that I’m not striving to build a reality TV persona, my goal is to appear on social media more frequently, authentically, and truthfully than ever before!”
He became a “project manager/estimator renovating multifamily/apartment and commercial building exteriors.” In May 2020, Chase revealed his relationship with Ellie via an Instagram post in which he requested her to be his girlfriend.
Since then, the couple has been exchanging photographs of themselves. Chris popped the question to the hat designer on Saturday during a picnic at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Breckenridge.
Chase McNary disclosed his engagement to E! News
“Ellie’s soul is filled with nothing but love for her friends, family, and life, and I have yet to encounter someone who could say anything negative about her.”
Shortly after their announcement, Bachelor Nation stars such as Becca Tilley, Amanda Stanton, Wells Adams, and Chris Soules congratulated the couple.
