Is Bam Margera Still Alive After His Death?

The Jackass actor is still alive and well as of February 2023, dispelling any claims to the contrary.

Margera disclosed that he had severe Covid-19 last year and was declared dead.

According to TMZ, the 43-year-old was admitted to the hospital in early December 2022 with a serious case of pneumonia.

He tested positive wforCOVID-19 while he was in the hospital, complicating the pneumonia.

The Jackass actor was consequently put on a ventilator and later received ICU treatment.

Margera allegedly had five seizures during that period, which made matters more difficult and resulted in the doctors once declaring him dead.

Thankfully, Margera’s condition improved and he made a full recovery.

Bam finished a one-year program for alcohol and drug abuse in 2022, although he was constantly in and out of rehab.

In a 2023 episode of his “Wild Ride” podcast, Bam chatted with his Jackass teammate Steve-O.

This week’s episode featured the two pals discussing Margera’s health concern in December 2022.

He suffered four seizures that lasted between 10 and 20 minutes before he was declared dead on December 8. Margera remembers this.

He chewed his tongue so hard during the fourth seizure that “it was nearly falling off.” It became so bloated that it was too big to fit in his mouth.

As a result of consuming the contaminated blood, he developed pneumonia.

Bam needs a tube through his mouth to breathe after his fifth seizure.

The Jackass actor assumed he had been awake for only a few hours when, in reality, he hadn’t been awake for five days.

Steve-O was informed by Margera that he had spent eight days in the hospital.

Fortunately, the 43-year-old is now well after recovering.

April and Phil Margera welcomed Brandon Cole “Bam” Margera into the world on September 28, 1979.
