Given that they play a royal from House Targaryen in House of the Dragon, Emma D’Arcy was questioned in an open interview with Interview magazine what their relationship with Game of Thrones is.
Emma responded with a stunning answer to the query: “Since I hadn’t seen it before my audition, I genuinely believe that’s the only reason I’m qualified for the position. If I had then the same level of passion for the program that I have now, there is no way I would have made it through the audition process. I believe I would have given under the pressure.”
They were aware that Game of Thrones was “a cultural phenomenon,” as Emma D’Arcy explained. They haven’t been living under a rock, according to D’Arcy, and they are aware of Game of Thrones on a “peripheral” level. Emma changed into a Game of Thrones character instead “Many years later: “That came later, nerd. It arrived just in time for the last shooting.”
Emma D’Arcy Discusses the Experience of Filming “House of the Dragon”

House of the Dragon’s eighth and last episode, titled The Green Council, will air on October 17 IST after eight captivating episodes have already been released. This week’s House of the Dragon episode 8 in particular left viewers inconsolable. Additionally, on October 24 IST, the season finale, The Black Queen, will be released.
