Schitt’s Creek creator Ben Feigin passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 47. He also founded and served as CEO of Equation Unlimited, LLC.

His wife’s current employer, United Talent Agency, where he previously worked, broke the news. Feigin gained notoriety for his role in securing Schitt’s Creek global licensing.
Additionally, he was involved in the production of the film Best Wishes, Warm Regards: A Fond Farewell to Schitt’s Creek. On Thursday, October 27, 2022, a funeral service for Ben will be placed at Mount Sinai Cemetery in Hollywood Hills. In his honor, contributions can be donated to Stand Up to Cancer.
What caused Ben Feigin’s death?
Ben Feigin passed away from pancreatic cancer, but the full extent of his condition is still unknown. Ben may have passed either at home or at a hospital, but more information is awaited.
The tissues of the pancreas are where pancreatic cancer begins. Both digestive enzymes and hormones that aid in blood sugar regulation is produced by the pancreas. The cells lining the ducts that carry the pancreatic digesting enzymes are where pancreatic cancer begins.
The illness is frequently detected early on and is easily treatable. Symptoms include back pain, weight loss, whites of the eyes and skin, light-colored feces, dark-colored urine, itchy skin, blood clots, and fatigue. But when cancer spreads to other organs, symptoms appear. Surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, or any combination of these treatments may be used to treat cancer, depending on how far it has spread.

In Silver Spring, Maryland, in the 1980s, Ben Feigin was born. After earning his degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, he started working for Warner Bros.
He was in charge of several of Warner Bros.’s most popular shows, such as Friends, The West Wing, and ER. He worked for UTA, The Collective, and Amblin Entertainment after leaving William Morris.
It was at this time that he met Heidi, the future wife he would later wed. Early in his career, Feigin made history when he teamed up with AOL to provide the first live event webcast.
Roasted and Hey Watch with Cheech and Chong Feigin served as executive producers for both of these. He played a key role in Cheech & Chong’s reunion as a comedy duo. Ben joined Anonymous Content in 2006 and, while working as a producer, contributed to the establishment of the company’s comedy and enterprise areas.
Ben Feigin maintained his philanthropic work by making donations to organizations such as StandUp2Cancer, Gilda’s Club World-Wide, the Tony Hawk Foundation, the Creative Collection, and others while he was still actively involved in society. He also taught seminars at the University of California, Los Angeles, New York University, and UCSB.
He rose to fame as the executive producer of the CBC comedy Schitt’s Creek, which ran from January 13, 2015, to April 7, 2020. Feigin won numerous awards for his work on Schitt’s Creek, including an Emmy, the PGA Award, and the GLAAD Media Award. He is survived by his wife Heidi and daughter Ellie.
