Ben began his career at Michael Sodeau as a design intern. In September 2000, he began working as a prototype lighting and furniture designer for Conran and Partners.

When he started working for Wallpaper magazine as an assistant interior editor and later as a special project manager, Conran and Partners had already closed. In January 2002, he finally departed the business.

Over time, Ben’s career progressed. He joined the White Company as a creative producer in January 2005. He oversaw product design and served as the creative director for greeting card publisher CARDLITE.
