Bethany Meilani Hamilton is the full name of a competitive surfer from the United States who survived a shark attack in 2003. Her left arm was bitten by a shark at the time, but when she returned, she was famous as a professional surfer.
Furthermore, her entire journey was documented in her 2004 autobiography, “Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board.” In April 2011, a film based on her life was also released. She is currently making moves and has a new film called Unstoppable.
Her adversity encourages many of her supporters to strive to be successful like her, and check out the 28 motivational statements from this brave lady.
