Bill Shankly was an ardent and passionate Scottish football manager and player. He is recognized as the most celebrated football manager since he was able to brilliantly manage his team. However, he died on September 29, 1981, as a result of a heart attack.
He was also a former Liverpool manager and a favorite football player. He is also the player responsible for Liverpool’s promotion to the Premier League. He was the same player that helped them win three league titles and the UEFA Cup.
However, Bill Shankly’s fame is due to more than just his pleasant remarks and ability to capture attention with a single sentence. I’ve compiled a list of 31 notable remarks by this outstanding manager.
