Silver in slopestyle was achieved by Sadowski-Synnott at the 2017 FIS Snowboard World Championships. For New Zealand, she competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

She became only the second New Zealander to win a medal in the women’s large air, following Annelise Coberger, who took home silver in the women’s slalom in the 1992 Winter Olympics.

At the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, in January 2019, Sadowski-Synnott won the gold medal in slopestyle and the silver medal in big air. She took home the slopestyle gold at the 2019 FIS Snowboard World Championships a month later.

Zoi Sadowski completed the triple crown after winning the slopestyle competition at the US Open in Vail, Colorado, in March 2019. She had already won the Open title, the X Games gold medal, and the World Championship title.

At the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, in January 2021, she took home the bronze medal in big air and the silver medal in slopestyle. She won the slopestyle gold medal at the 2021 FIS Snowboard World Championships two months later.

In the slopestyle competition at the US Grand Prix World Cup competition in California, USA, in January 2022, she came in second. She earned gold medals in the Winter X Games in Aspen, Colorado, in January 2022 for slopestyle and big air.

On February 6, 2022, she took home the gold medal in the slopestyle competition at the Beijing Winter Olympics. This was New Zealand’s first gold medal at an Olympic Winter Games.
