As a youth, Kellerman started his radio career. On a public-access television cable in New York City, he once served as the host of a program called Max on Boxing. But after graduation, his work path changed for the better.
In the late 1990s, ESPN’s boxing program Friday Night Fights employed Kellerman as an analyst. In November 2002, after working as an analyst for a while, he was granted his program, Around the Horn.
