American wrestler and member of the Canadian Football League Angelo Mosca was active in both sports. In wrestling, he was also referred to as King Kong Mosca and The Mighty Hercules.   • Mosca shared the record for the most Grey Cup appearances in CFL history with teammate John Barrow with nine games played.
  • Five times, once with the Ottawa Rough Riders and four times with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Mosca’s teams took home the Grey Cup.
  • The Tiger-Cats declared on August 25, 2015, that Mosca’s jersey number 68 would be retired.
  • He competed in professional wrestling all around North America, almost always at the top of the card and almost always as a heel, even in Toronto until the late 1970s, when he turned a face, and then the major face in the early 1980s.
  • Due to his aggressive style, Mosca competed in the World Wrestling Federation in 1981 as (often – in a reversal of his persona in Canada) the promotion’s most loathed heel.
  • In 1985–1987, Mosca promoted the NWA in Ontario after being fired by the WWF.
  • He declared his wrestling retirement in 1986.
