On Thursday, the Gossip Girl star Blake Lively made the announcement while attending the 10th Annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit. She was seen flaunting her baby belly while wearing a long-sleeved sequined short dress.
Other eventgoers told TMZ that workers were only authorized to give select photographers access to shoot Lively. They were also warned ahead of time that it would be a “delicate shoot.”

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have three children: James, Inez, and Betty. James is seven years old and was born on December 16, 2014. Reynolds told The MR PORTER Post that his oldest daughter was named after his father, who died shortly after her birth.
James made a cameo appearance on Taylor Swift’s album Reputation when she was two years old. Lively revealed on Good Morning America that she and Reynolds were ecstatic about their daughter’s inclusion in the album:
“We were extremely humiliated. This is our genuine, unadulterated stage-parent pride.”
The toddler whose voice can be heard at the beginning of Taylor Swift’s song Gorgeous is James. The couple’s second child, Inez, was born on September 30, 2016, and is now five years old. When asked about her name, Lively explained to People:

On Live with Kelly and Ryan, Reynolds revealed that Inez is “super into villains,” that her favorite character in Beauty and the Beast is Gaston, and that she was the only member of their family to receive a “secondary security pat down at 2 years old.” Ryan also revealed that Inez was once referred to as “shady” by their pediatrician.
The third child of Betty, Lively, and Reynolds was born on October 4, 2019. According to Lively, the two-year-name old’s is a family monicker that was first made public by Taylor Swift, who released a song called Betty shortly after her birth.

Blake Lively announced her pregnancy after opening up about becoming a mother of three in a May interview with Forbes, saying that having children helped her “feel so much more in her skin.”
“I’ve never felt more myself, at ease in my own skin, or confident—not to say I don’t have a million anxieties bombarding me on a daily basis, but I simply feel extremely content.”
In December, Ryan Reynolds told LinkedIn News Senior Editor at Large Jessi Hempel that he chose to take a break from acting to spend more time with his children because they are the most important thing to him and he didn’t want to miss out on spending time with them.
The Deadpool actor also stated that he wants to live his life with his children and family “like a regular person”:
“I want my children to have a fairly consistent routine. For many years, when my wife Blake was filming, I would not film and be with the kids, and vice versa. We never truly worked together, but we were always gone, so the kids were away.”
Although Lively’s pregnancy has been announced, the couple has yet to make an official statement regarding the due date.
