Blake Shelton has announced his departure from the iconic music reality competition series The Voice, with Season 23 serving as his final season as coach. This news is guaranteed to anger The Voice fans. Additionally, Shelton will be joined for The Voice Season 23, which is set to premiere in the spring of 2023, by returning judge Kelly Clarkson and newcomers Niall Horan and Chance the Rapper.
Blake Shelton posted a moving letter on his left on Instagram, thanking the judges, contestants, viewers, and The Voice staff for “a heck of a journey throughout these 12 years of chair turns.”

According to Blake Shelton’s statement: “After much deliberation, I have concluded that I should leave The Voice at the end of the upcoming season. My life has been completely improved by this show, and I will always feel at home there.
It’s been a wild ride over the past 12 years of chair turns, and I want to thank everyone at The Voice from NBC, including all of the producers, writers, musicians, crew members, and caterers. You are the greatest. A live show twice a week requires a lot of effort, passion, and adult beverages (Ha!).
Over the years, I’ve developed enduring relationships with Carson and every one of my fellow coaches, including my wife Gwen Stefani! I must give a major shout-out to the singers, known as the “Voices,” who continue to dazzle us with their brilliance by being on this stage year after year.
I must also express my gratitude to those who picked me as their coach. Last but not least, it’s about all of you, The Voice’s coaches and contestants who follow and support these artists as they pursue their ambitions. Without you, it would not be possible!”
Gwen Stefani left some sweet remarks in the comments area for her beloved husband: “I feel so fortunate to have found you and so proud of you. I feel so fortunate to be a part of your life’s journey and see how many others are blessed by your skill. ”
