Kingston College (KC) sprint sensation Bouwahjgie Nkrumie became the third junior sprinter in history to run a sub-10 time, fulfilling his season-long promise. He broke the 2014 Kingston College record of 10.12 seconds established by Zharnel Hughes with a 10.08-second run. It was the first Jamaican junior sprinter to break 10 seconds.
