Bri Barlup is one of the Little Women: Dallas cast members and was a Little Women: Atlanta cast member in the past. Together with her girlfriend Wooda Bowen, she is the mother of Malik. When she became pregnant a second time, many people wondered who the baby’s father was.
An examination of Bri Barlup’s interactions with her baby’s father. After knowing one another for five years, Bri Barlup and Wooda Bowen had a sporadic connection. Nothing productive came out of the two’s attempts to repair their relationship, including their visit to a psychotherapist.
Instead, he admitted that he did not envision himself dating Bri. And perhaps for that reason he declines to give their union a real name. A reporter once heard Wooda say,
“We’re not formally a couple, but it’s one of those things that’s difficult to describe…
I would much rather be content and live my life without a title.”
Bri was obviously caught off guard by it. Speaking to the cameras on Lifetime,
“I know Wooda despises titles, but it hurts my heart to hear him tell someone else we aren’t a couple,” she said of hearing Wooda discuss our relationship.
Malik, the couple’s son, was born on July 5, 2013, to Bri and Wooda. Like his mother, he suffers from achondroplasia. Throughout the entire season of “Little Women: Atlanta,” Bri’s first pregnancy was chronicled. The couple co-parented their son while still residing together despite their failed attempts at dating. The three-person family later relocated to Dallas.
A few months later, Wooda moved away from Bri and his son to focus on his music career. Bri spent a brief length of time in a relationship with Jamarcus in the middle of 2017. Even though Wooda was aware of this, he didn’t care about being in a relationship with Bri.
Second Child Due for Bri Barlup
The announcement of Bri’s pregnancy hit the internet like a bomb. The Little Woman: Atlanta star Bri’s music video for “Gettin Rich” showed off her expanding baby bulge. She was reportedly five months along at the time. However, not even Bri herself knew who the child’s father was.
On the season reunion special for 2017, however, Bri quickly found the answer. Wooda reportedly appeared on stage during the show’s taping, when she identified him as the child’s father. Wooda didn’t take the news well and rushed off stage, demanding a paternity test.
It became out that Wooda was the child’s real father. Karter, their second child, was born on February 9, 2018. Speaking to ET Online, Bri expressed to her partner Wodda how thrilled they were to welcome the newest member of their family.
Are Emily Fernandez and Bri Barlup still friends?
Bri Barlup has achondroplasia, a kind of dwarfism, which accounts for her 3’11” height. Before getting cast in Little Women: Atlanta, she worked as a club dancer with her close friend and fellow cast member Emily Fernandez.
She and Fernandez also appeared in the “Da Wop” music video by rapper Lil Chuckee. After that, Barlup adopted the moniker “Left Cheek” while Fernandez adopted “Right Cheek.”
But their relationship began to sour in the fall of 2019. They did not get along, and they even stopped following one another on social media.
In the Little Women: Atlanta sneak look video. Bri explains that she and Emily are no longer friends and discusses focusing on her music career alone.
“We are no longer close friends.
I scrubbed my hands, and I stopped her everywhere.”
