On October 24, 1987, Brianne Lauren Winkler gave birth to Bri in Massachusetts. Although a lot of publications claim that October 25 is her birthday, Bri’s Instagram post contradicts this.

While one can forecast the weather, none can foresee a health emergency. One day after Patriot Day, on September 12, 2012, Bri Winkler experienced this.
For Bri, it was just another typical day as she had to get up at five o’clock in the morning to go for her daily workout. And then, five minutes after she woke up, everything went wrong. She first had numbness throughout the right side of her face, arms, and leg, then she lost hearing in her right ear.
Before long, Winkler was too weak to stand, so she crawled over to the phone and dialed her Boston-based sister Tara. Upon learning of the circumstance, Tara speculated that it may be the result of low pressure. Then she talked Bri into crawling to the kitchen to eat something that could be helpful.
Since there was no history of stroke in their family, Tara dismissed the possibility of one back then. She eventually understood, though, that it was far more severe than low pressure. As a result, she requested a friend who lived close to Bri to dial 911.
Soon after, paramedics arrived and took Bri to the Huntington Hospital in a hurry. It was discovered after preliminary testing that Bri suffered an uncommon form of stroke, with vertebral artery dissection serving as the primary culprit. The doctor speculated that Bri’s prior practice of a certain yoga position or chiropractic manipulation may have contributed to the incidence.
