Brian Cox has been married to his longtime wife, actress Nicole Ansari, since 2002. He is best known for his role as Logan Roy on HBO’s Succession.
He has two sons from his marriage to her: Orson Jonathan Cox and Torin Kamran Cox.
The actor was previously married to Caroline Burt, with whom he shares his two older children. Margaret and Alan Cox are their names.

In terms of his first marriage, the actor married at the age of 24, which he considers being a “far too young” age for marriage.
However, in his memoir Putting the Rabbit in the Hat, which was published in October 2021, he explained why he married Burt despite knowing he was too young.
After a troubled childhood, he stated that he was looking for stability and “normalcy” in his life.
That is a different story, but to cut a long story short, he witnessed his father die when he was eight years old and his mother is hospitalized after a mental breakdown.
“I desired the security of marriage and children. “After what I’d been through, I craved the normalcy of a home and a family,” Cox explained.”
After 18 years of marriage and two children, the Scottish actor and Burt divorced.
He also mentioned in his memoir that he struggled with parenthood during his first marriage because his job kept him away from home for so long.
The age difference between Brian Cox and his current wife is frequently discussed.
In terms of Cox’s current marriage, he and his wife, Ansari, are content. Meanwhile, the couple has faced backlash and trolling on the internet due to their 23-year age difference.
The actor, who was born in June 1946, is 75 years old as of this writing, while his longtime wife, the daughter of a German mother and an Iranian father, is 53.

The couple’s age difference, however, does not appear to be an issue. Because Ansari is said to be an old soul, wise and usually at ease, whereas Cox is always full of energy.
Furthermore, the Oscar winner addressed the subject in his previously mentioned memoir. He initially stated that he married a young woman in his 50s because he was “better prepared” for fatherhood.
“I’ve tried to make up for everything that has happened in the past with our two sons. My career does not always come first these days. Perhaps I was better prepared the second time around “He stated.
Cox then implied that the couple’s age didn’t bother them because “Love is love,” and Ansari was (and still is) his life’s love.
Cox and Ansari are said to have been together since they met in Hamburg in 1990. At the time, the actor was starring in King Lear.
In 1998, the two began dating, and a year later, she moved to London to be with him. As they say, the rest is history.
