Britney Spears’s ex-husband Jason Alexander was detained on June 9 after breaking into the singer’s Ventura County home. It appears that Jason broadcast the assault live on Instagram.

In 2004, Alexander wed Spears in Las Vegas, but the union was only declared null and void after just 55 hours. He can be seen in one video pacing the grounds while shouting at someone:
I came here at Britney Spears’ invitation. She is the only wife I have ever had. I came here to sabotage the wedding.
In another video, he walks up to a wedding venue with a large flower backdrop and a tent, where the crew appears to be finishing up the celebrations.
It’s unknown how he got past security and was able to wander about freely during what was supposed to be a quiet, well-attended gathering. He is approached by security and appears to be tackled to the ground just before the video cuts out. Alexander is seen lying on the ground being restrained by security in a TMZ video.
According to Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Cameron Henderson, on June 9 police responded to a trespassing accusation. After acquiring an arrest warrant for Alexander in another county, police captured him at the wedding venue. Alexander’s arrest was verified by the attorney Mathew Rosengart, who Spears hired to negotiate the conservatorship on her behalf, in a statement on Page Six.
I wish to express my gratitude to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department for its prompt action and superb work. To ensure that Mr. Alexander is vigorously prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, I’m working with law enforcement.

Alexander was there at a #FreeBritney event in Los Angeles in 2020 when she was fighting for conservatorship. At the time, he stated to Us Magazine:
“I’m here to support Britney and the #FreeBritney movement. She has lived in this awful situation for a very long time. She and I have both been impacted by it, thus I am a part of it.
The legal system is not new to Alexander. He’s been detained in the past on numerous counts, including DUI, drug possession, trespassing, and stalking.
He also made fun of Britney Spears on June 9. Before demanding a probe, he mentions the members of Spears’ family and close friends but doesn’t go into further detail. He claims:
Let’s examine their receipts. “Trace the funds,”
In September 2021, Britney Spears announced that she was getting married to her longtime partner Sam Asghari. When a judge ruled in Spears’ favor in November, the 13-year conservatorship that had prevented her from making her own personal and financial decisions was over.
