The death of actress and singer Brittany Murphy shook the globe when it was announced on the internet. Murphy died in 2009, just before Christmas, at the age of 32.
Brittany was discovered slumped on the bathroom floor of her house in December 2009.
She shared an apartment with her husband, Simon, and her mother, Sharon. Murphy was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. At 10 a.m., she was pronounced dead.
Murphy’s death was investigated quickly, and many people claimed she committed suicide.
Murphy died as a result of her medical condition, thus those rumors are incorrect.

One of Murphy’s acquaintances claimed in the series that she wanted to change her hair color and lose weight after some Hollywood execs warned her she was “not fuckable” enough to land a main role.
All of the nasty comments left Murphy feeling insecure and vulnerable. According to the series, she met Simon Monjack, a manipulative con artist, and was swayed by his charms.
Murphy and Simon tied the knot in 2007. He began living with Murphy and her mother.
Simon quickly started isolating Murphy from her companions and shooting. He removed her phone lines, broke all ties to her, and became her agent, manager, and even cosmetics artist. In

Her husband died on May 23, 2010, about six months after Murphy, from the same cause, pneumonia and anemia.

Murphy was born on November 10, 1977, to Father Angelo Bertolotti and Mother Sharon Murphy.
Angelo Bertolotti was of Italian ancestry, while her mother was half-Irish and half-Slovakian. Her parents divorced when she was just two years old.
Murphy was reared in Edison, New Jersey, by her mother, along with two older brothers and a younger sister.
Prior to her marriage to Simon Monjack Murphy proposed to Joe Macaluso in 2005, and they married in May 2007. The engagement, however, terminated in 2006.
Murphy was also romantically involved with actor Ashton Kutcher and talent manager Jeff Kwatinetz.
