He was signed as an international free agent by the Minnesota Twins in 2014. The next year, he made his professional debut, playing a match against the Dominican Summer League Twins.

Brusdar Graterol was also a pitcher for the Gulf Coast Twins and the Elizabethton Twins. He began his career with the Cedar Rapids Kernels in 2018 and was later promoted to the Fort Myers Miracle. He joined the Pensacola Blue Wahoos in 2019. In September of the same year, he was picked and promoted to the Major Leagues. He debuted in the major leagues against the Detroit Tigers. In ten games, he pitched 9.2 innings and struck out ten batters. He was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers on February 10, 2020, for Kenta Maeda, Jair Camargo, and monetary considerations.
