Bully Da Ba$tard’s rapping skills were appreciated by the Korean public, but he has long been the focus of allegations of drug abuse.
Bully da Ba$tard was detained on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and marijuana.
It was revealed on July 12, 2022, that the singer had been detained by the Incheon Gyeyang Police Station on numerous drug-related charges.
Bully Da Ba$tard alias Yoon is reportedly suspected of using marijuana and methamphetamine at his home in the Gyeyang-gu district of Incheon.
The sources claim that on July 9, 2022, the police received a tip about the rapper’s drug use. Soon after, authorities executed an arrest warrant and raided Bully Da Ba$tard’s house, where they found 1.0g of meth and about 4 needles.
The musician has previously admitted to the charges. He was further implicated after a liver urine test revealed drugs in his system. Yoon admitted to getting the drugs using an online chat service where users use the “drop-off technique” to transact. Yoon allegedly took the drugs after the source hid them in a specific spot.
The entire ring is currently being looked at by the authorities, as well as anyone else who might have acquired the drugs in the same way. By the way, Yoon Byung-ho admitted to having a drug problem on May 20, 2020. On his personal Instagram account, the High School Rapper finalist opened out about his drug use and attempts at recovery.
The passage continues:
“My actions deserve condemnation, and I’d like to once more apologize for disappointing the many people who have tried to help me. I struggled with drug addiction for years and used hundreds of doses of tranquilizers and painkillers to escape reality.
Bully Da Ba$tard isn’t the first High School Rapper hopeful to have legal issues recently, though. Choi Ha-min, a rapper who finished second in the competition, was given a sentence of one year and six months in prison and three years of probation on the 22nd of last month for abusing children. On the other side, Choi Ha-min has been exonerated by the law of any role in the ongoing drug controversy.
