Carter Hart is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who currently plays for the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL. He grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta, and has had a great interest in hockey since childhood. Hart began training with a sports psychologist at the age of ten and played minor hockey in the Alberta Minor Midget AAA League.
The Flyers chose Hart in the second round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. Furthermore, he was the most highly sought-after goalie that season. Hart informed Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia that his condition comes and goes. Carter stated that he has now established what is causing the problem and is working to address it. Following Hart’s absence from the day’s practice (January 23, 2024), team coach John Tortorella stated that Hart had no medical difficulties or complaints.
Fans Speculate That Carter’s Absence Is Related to the 2018 WJC Scandal
Naturally, there has already been a lot of speculation about Hart’s particular motives behind his leave of absence request. A lawsuit was filed against Hockey Canada in April 2022. According to the accusation, members of Canada’s 2018 World Junior Championship squad sexually molested a lady.
