Katia Alexandrovskaya was presumed to have committed suicide on July 18, 2020. A devastating missive was left behind by the Olympic skater. At the time, she was 20 years old and residing with her mother in Moscow.
According to police reports, she plummeted from her sixth-floor apartment window. According to a law enforcement source cited by the state-run TASS agency, the preliminary cause of death is suicide.
The ice skater’s corpse was discovered beneath her apartment building. Police officers also determined that her death was a suicide after discovering a note that read, “I Love.”

A few months later, Katia texted her instructor that she would not be attending training because she felt ill.
Then, in January 2019, she was diagnosed with epilepsy. After two weeks of observation, the ice skater was informed that she had epilepsy and was no longer allowed to skate.
Even though she protested, she was not permitted to do so. According to her acquaintances, when she was forced to give up the sport due to her diagnosis, she sank into severe depression.
According to Russia’s Channel 5, abandoning the sport at such a young age ruined her finances, and she was forced to work in a nude club.
