A sweet love tale
When Celia was 19 years old in 2010, she first met Grzegorz. Two years later, they started dating, and they’ve been together since since. It was a case of “love at first sight” for both of them. Grzegorz was playing on loan for Reims and then Nantes at the time, while Celia was a student at Bordeaux.
At the time, they only saw each other on the weekends. However, after Celia received her degree from the university, the two realized they could no longer live apart, and Celia moved in with Grzegorz.
In a 2018 interview, Celia discussed her first meeting with Grzegorz. She compared Grzegorz and herself to a lovely, long-standing marriage. In her native Bordeaux, Jaunat was enrolled in a management and marketing program at the time.
She spent one-half of each weekday at school and the other one-half gaining work experience. She was employed by a bathroom fittings company’s showroom.
Grzegorz was a client who required tiles for his apartment, and Jaunat eventually rose to the position of assistant manager for the business. When she first saw him, she was only able to focus on how beautiful he appeared.
She claimed that at first, because she was hiding behind the desk, he didn’t notice her. After that, she moved to the living room and pretended to write something.
Then, as he walked up to her and greeted her with “Bonjour Mademoiselle” (‘Hello Miss’), she fell in love with his French accent.
Similar to how Grzegorz described her, he felt she was stunning and tall when he first saw her, and he was mesmerized by her candor, compassion, and flirtatious chatting manner. He then asked for her phone number and called the next day.
Celia was invited to dinner, but she rejected because she couldn’t meet the man she had just met at the time because of her parents’ rules.
Instead, she met him later that day on a café patio. He claimed to be a student like her, and Celia claimed she had no idea he was a player. She had taken him at his word until he subsequently revealed that he was a budding professional footballer.
Celia Jaunat initially thought he thought young boys are drawn to football and want to participate, but fail, and then they get over it, but she soon realized how much he appreciates and loves football.
She claims that Grzegorz sees football as a component of his life, a passion, and a calling. Celia supported him throughout his professional life. She has witnessed the rebirth of her hubby.
Marriage
In 2017, while on holiday in Bora-Bora for Christmas, Grzegorz asked Celia to marry him in a civil ceremony. On Christmas Eve of 2019, two years after they were engaged, they wed in a civil ceremony.
The Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar resort in Oman served as the venue for the wedding. Celia posted a photo of the two of them on Instagram to announce their marriage. Instead of a bridal gown, Celia chose a white suit.
The following day, she published a picture of herself wearing her beautiful white wedding dress with the comment, “wedding in heavenly site, which took place at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar resort in Oman.” The pair are now each employed in a different industry. They haven’t had kids yet.
Grzegorz runs a successful firm. He co-owns a store with his brother. He shared on Instagram in 2020 the opening of their second location of the Poznan-based clothing retailer Balamont. Celia respects and admires her husband and believes in his business.
