Chris Huvane was a Hollywood talent manager who passed away at the age of 47 on Sunday, February 6. After years of battling despair, he supposedly committed suicide. His employer, Management 360, confirmed Huvane’s death in a statement to Deadline:

“We are heartbroken beyond words this morning. Chris was described as “the finest of the finest.” Everyone who has ever met him adores him. He is a pillar of our organization’s culture and a fantastic leader, coworker, and friend.

Additionally, the company extended condolences to Huvane’s family and vowed to respect his legacy every day in the future.

It is a tragic loss, and our sympathies go out to his loved ones. We are all better for having met Chris, and we resolve to continue his legacy every day.”

Chris Huvane, a renowned Hollywood manager, passed away on February 6, 2022.

According to reports, the manager was depressed and died of an apparent suicide. He was 47. Chris’s clients at Management pic included the late actor Chadwick Boseman, Margot Robbie, and others.

Last year, the talent manager acknowledged his anguish in a Facebook post, via The Hollywood Reporter. He provided Management 360 with a summary of his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and wrote:

“I vividly recall this day. It was the fourth week of a long-term depressive episode that has left me with emotional shrapnel to this day. Despite having numerous reasons to live, I struggled to find the motivation to do so. Because my brain was improperly wired, I had panic attacks for the first time in my forty-four years of life.”

Huvane was a well-liked Hollywood media executive. The news of the manager’s unexpected demise rocked the business community, and numerous celebrities and fans took to social media to pay their respects.

He was considered to be one of Hollywood’s top talent agents. Chris was known for his positive attitude and helping nature, and he helped the success of numerous prominent performers. In the company, he was commonly referred to as the “guy’s guy.”

Among many others, the Management 360 partner has worked with Julianne Moore, Margot Robbie, Zach Braff, Henry Winkler, Chris Cantwell, Jensen Ackles, Zoey Deutch, Margaret Qualley, Ben McKenzie, Malcolm Barrett, Chris Rogers, and the late Chadwick Boseman.

His father, Martin Huvane, and his wife, Cole Huvane, survive him. His brothers, Slate PR partner Stephen Huvane, CAA partner Kevin Huvane, Robert Huvane, Michael Huvane, Denise Whalen, and nephew Declan Huvane, survive him as well.

A retrospective of Chris Huvane’s life

Chris Huvane was born on June 29, 1974, and raised in Yonkers, New York. After meeting Julianne Moore while working as a bellhop at a Manhattan hotel, he reportedly decided to pursue a career in entertainment.

Huvane moved to Los Angeles in 2000 and began working with HBH Public Relations as a public relations professional. He then spent eight years working for GQ magazine before being elevated to senior West Coast editor.

In 2010, the media expert joined Management 360 to become a talent manager. In 2015, following a good five-year stint, he became a partner at the company.

The Hollywood official has had small roles in films including Joel Schumacher’s Tigerland (2000) and Sex and the City (2002). He was also a co-producer on the film Finding Steve McQueen by Mark Steven Johnson and an executive producer on the Bravo television series It’s a Brad, Brad World.

In addition to The Dime Bar in Los Angeles and the Stout Burgers and Beer franchise in Palm Springs, Chris Huvane was involved in more business ventures. He had a multitude of interests, including boxing, motorcycles, tattoos, and animals, in addition to his excellent profession.
