Christina Applegate has repeatedly stated that her husband Martyn was constantly at her side during her struggle with breast cancer. Martyn and Applegate had only recently begun dating when she was diagnosed with the condition. Christina once described her husband’s assistance as:

Christina Applegate was formerly married to Johnathon Schaech from 2001 to 2007. On October 20, 2001, the ex-couple married in Palm Springs, California. They dated for a time before deciding to label their relationship.
The couple, who had been together for years, couldn’t handle their marriage properly. They experienced ups and downs early in their marriage. Applegate and Schaech divorced in 2005. Her spouse filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court months after their separation.
