Chuck is an American show director, writer, producer, and composer who works in the industry. He worked as a guitarist and composer across the country after finishing high school.

The tune “French Kissin’ in America” was written by him. In the UK, his single peaked in the Top 10. Early in the 1980s, he penned the scripts for animated programs. His first assignment was to design Heathcliff for the DIC.

Later, he worked with Dennis Challen Brown on the music for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles television series, which aired in 1987.

He switched to writing sitcoms in the late 1980s and started contributing to Roseanne. His experience with Roseanne influenced producers and inspired him to develop his first show, Frannie’s Turn, even though he was fired due to creative differences.
