American lawyer Clarence Thomas is now a justice on the U.S. Supreme Court. He was appointed by former President George H. W. Bush to succeed Thurgood Marshall, and he has been in office since 1991.

Justice, according to the U.S. Supreme Court, is fit and healthy. Clarence Thomas is not currently ill. At least no reports of his sickness have surfaced.

However, the associate justice was hospitalized at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington on March 21, 2022, after exhibiting flu-like symptoms.

Inquiries concerning Justice Thomas’s condition were not immediately answered by Patricia McCabe, the Supreme Court’s press secretary. He later acknowledged that Thomas’ illness was unrelated to the coronavirus.

After undergoing several tests, it was determined that the Georgian had an infection. The press announcement from the Supreme Court stated that Thomas received intravenous antibiotic therapy.

It was also established that it wasn’t a Covid-19 infection by the court’s public information office.

The press statement also stated that the patient “expects to be discharged from the hospital within a day or two” and that his symptoms had abated.

Based on the transcripts, papers, and audio of the oral arguments, it was stated that Justice Thomas will take part in deliberating and debating any matters when he is not physically present.

On March 25, 2022, Justice Clarence was officially dismissed, according to the Supreme Court.

The judges had all had Covid-19 vaccinations and boosters. According to a New York Times story, the virus infected at least two justices. The justices are routinely tested for the virus by court practice.

Clarence Thomas stated the court’s public information office more than 24 hours after the incident.

Clarence Thomas claimed that Harlan and Kathy Crow, who have known one other for a very long period, are his closest friends. Throughout their friendship, which has lasted more than 25 years, “as friends do, we have joined them on several family vacations,” the justice said.

Thomas went on to claim that he had been told he did not have to document “this sort of personal hospitality” and that going forward, he would follow the new Judicial Conference guidelines.

The findings angered Democrats, and several called on Justice Thomas to step down. Republicans were either silent or backed Thomas’ right to travel with pals.
