On August 2, 2021, Connor Sturgeon murdered a number of people at the Old National Bank in Louisville, Kentucky.
Before being shot and killed by police, Sturgeon, a 25-year-old bank employee, shot and murdered four people and wounded a number of others.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Sturgeon had been a syndications associate and portfolio banker with the bank since June 2021 before to the incident. Uncertainty surrounds the shooting’s motivation.
Connor Sturgeon began his assault at about 8:30 a.m. as other colleagues were in a morning meeting. A bank manager who practically saw the discussion referred to Sturgeon as “extremely intelligent.”

Sturgeon, who shot up the Old National Bank, attended Floyd Central High School in Indiana after moving there as a child. When he was there, he played basketball.
When Connor was a sophomore, Todd Sturgeon, his father, was hired as the high school’s head basketball coach. To spend more time with Connor and his younger sibling, Todd left the school in 2022.

Later, he attended the University of Alabama to complete his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Todd Sturgeon also served as the men’s basketball team coach at the University of Indianapolis.
There hasn’t been much information made public about his family; after the shooting, they have requested seclusion and have kept a low profile.
According to the evidence given, the gunman penned a statement to his parents and close friends expressing his intention to shoot from behind.
Connor Sturgeon was shot inside the bank, injuring nine people, four of whom died, and no one in his immediate family or circle of acquaintances wanted to see that.

Update on the Louisville Shooting Case
