Corey began playing basketball at an early age, and as a junior, he averaged 23.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 2.3 steals per game, leading the team to their second consecutive state championship and was voted MVP of the State Championship Tournament. Then, in 2017, he enrolled at Gonzaga, whereas a freshman, he started all seven games for the Bulldogs and averaged 6.7 points and 3.2 rebounds per contest. Kispert scored 28 points and converted seven of eight three-point shots in the first round of the 2019 Battle 4 Atlantis against Southern Mississippi. He also scored 26 points with five three-pointers in a game against North Carolina.
