Stephanie Melgoza’s crime scene pictures have gone viral after a police body camera video was published, in which Melgoza can be seen singing, laughing, and smiling after being informed by authorities that she was responsible for the deaths of two individuals in a deadly accident. In the terrifying footage, Melgoza is heard telling the officer that she had consumed vodka and that she had marijuana in her purse but hadn’t yet used it.
She smiled through the tests the East Peoria officer gave her before discovering she was three times above the legal limit. A police officer included a video of Melgoza’s severely damaged vehicle.
