Ingraham is the son of James Frederick Ingraham III and Anne Caroline (née Kozak). Curtis grew up in the Glastonbury Center Community of Connecticut with his sister, Laura.
Curtis once disclosed that his father had a copy of Hitler’s autobiographical autobiography, Mein Kampf, on the family’s living room shelf.
When revealing the specific fact, he stated that he “cannot stay quiet.”
According to Ingraham, his father was a Nazi sympathizer. Curtis also said that his father was harsh and an alcoholic. He has also said that his sister’s animosity stems from growing up in an angry home.

Laura claimed that David Hogg, a Parkland, Florida, school shooting survivor, was moaning needlessly over the rejection of his college applications. She also chastised him for his low grade.
Curtis, like many other liberals, reacted angrily to Laura’s on-air remarks. However, the Dartmouth College graduate eventually apologized for her words to Hogg.
