Tracye changed his last name to Jackson during high school because he felt it was unfair to his stepfather. Tracye now uses Jackson as his last name on all of his social media platforms. In his interview, Tracye stated, “When I got to high school, I didn’t think it was fair.” Ray raised me my entire life, so I attended Jackson-Davis.”
Ray agreed to drive him to the gym and assist him with his training, according to Tracye. Dale was more concerned with mental health, but he would take him to the gym if he was in town. Ray Jackson, a retired athlete, attended Washington State University and competed in two bowl games, including the 1998 Rose Bowl. Ray retired from athletics to join the police force and is currently a member of the Center Grove Police Department.
